In an old, crooked half-timbered house in Magstræde in inner Copenhagen, we spread the joy of food and cosiness on two floors. The restaurant is known as a cozy and nice eatery in a rustic and informal setting. Magstræde is one of the oldest streets in Copenhagen and dates back to the 1520s. Over the years, Magstræde has housed many businesses. The most piquant was arguably in the 19th century, when the street was eminently known for prostitution. Magstræde is with its crooked houses and the cobbled road, one of the most photographed roads in Copenhagen and a favorite place for tourists who are looking for an authentic Copenhagen image. Magstræde 16 was the first GORM restaurant to open in 2008.
