Gorm Wisweh was born and raised on Bornholm, more specifically in Svaneke. In 2008, he – together with a number of partners – started the restaurant chain Gorm’s, which today consists of 7 restaurants and 4 pizza bars spread over most of the country.
14 years after the first restaurant opened in Copenhagen, an opportunity arose for Gorm to return home to Bornholm.
That’s why Gorm’s is opening their newest restaurant in Aarsdale at Solgården from Easter. By his side, Gorm has another Bornholmer Kristian Nielsen (Event Manager at Gorm’s), who together with Gorm will provide a fantastic and uncompromising experience when guests make their way past Gorm’s in Aarsdale.
Gorm’s Aarsdale starts by opening as a pop-up restaurant, which has opened from Easter until the autumn holidays, but we naturally hope that Gorm’s Aarsdale will become a permanent location.
Gorm’s already uses raw materials from local Danish producers from, among others, Troldgaarden near Aarhus and Grambogård outside Odense. Therefore, it is only natural for Gorm’s to use the many delicious ingredients that are already available on Bornholm.
